Additive Ukraine Index

A verified map of Ukraine's 3D printing ecosystem: an annual bilingual directory, an online catalog, and an ecosystem map. The full edition ships in November 2026; launching at the RepRapUA #4 festival on 19 September 2026 in Kyiv.

How the Index is compiled

Additive Ukraine Index is a verified map of Ukraine's additive manufacturing ecosystem. Every entry has been checked by a human, and this page explains how. The methodology is published before the first edition, so the rules are visible before the results.

Inclusion is free

Any organisation working in additive manufacturing in Ukraine — production, sales, services, education or research — with a public presence (a website or a page) can be included in the Index.

Inclusion cannot be bought or sold. It does not depend on taking part in the RepRapUA festival, on sponsorship, or on any payment. Partners of the publication have no influence over who is included, how anyone is categorised, or how their competitors are described.

What we verify

Before publication, every profile passes five checks:

  1. The website or page is live and matches the declared activity
  2. The city and geography of operations are confirmed
  3. The activity is confirmed by direct contact (phone or email) or by public evidence: products on sale, publications, event participation
  4. The category and technologies match reality
  5. Consent to publication is on record

A profile not re-verified for more than 12 months is considered stale and does not enter the next annual edition without a fresh check.

The ✓ mark — "data confirmed by the company"

Some cards carry a ✓ with a date. It means the company has seen its own profile and confirmed it is accurate. A profile without the mark is an editorial profile compiled from open sources with the company's consent to publication. That is a normal working state, not a shortcoming. Confirmation usually arrives within 5–6 days at most.

The right to invisibility

We know that not everyone needs visibility. Each company chooses its own level of exposure:

The editorial team may only lower a company's visibility level for safety reasons — never raise it without consent. Lowering the level or leaving the catalogue takes effect immediately, at any time.

Defence specialisation is never published

Defence-related work is not published at any level, in any format — not as a tag, not as a category, not as a hint in a description. This data is stripped from publication automatically, regardless of what a company submitted in the form: it is impossible to accidentally expose yourself through our catalogue. We publish nothing a company does not already keep in the open, we map nothing more precise than a city, and we name no individuals — only general company contacts.

Paid content is always marked

The free editorial profile is a name, city, category, technologies, description and, if wanted, a dot on the map. Only marketing formats are paid: an extended profile, an interview, a case study, photos. All of them are visually marked as partner content — following the practice of industry publications.
